Coalition Toolkit

We’ve assembled resources to support the work of our Coalition partners.

These are the tools Coalition leaders told us would make their work flow more smoothly.

A. Annual Timelines for Cultural Coalition Grants

  • July: Awards allocated by vote of Cultural Trust Board; Coalitions are statutorily allocated 25% of the total annual Trust grant budget. County/Tribal Coalition award amounts are determined by a base amount of $8,500, plus a per capita calculation. FY27 Coalition Awards are published on the Trust Blog.
  • September: Cultural Coalitions submit required documents. Link to FY27 Contact Form:  oregon4biz.tfaforms.net/364. Required attachments include:
    • Cultural Coalition Member Roster with Contact Information
    • Cultural Coalition grant guidelines and application (most recent)
    • Cultural Coalition Cultural Plan (most recent)
  • Winter: Each County Coalition runs a competitive grant awards process, typically with one year to complete their project and submit their final reports. Many Coalitions host an awards ceremony for recipients. All grant recipients of the Cultural Trust will use Coalition and Trust logos for funded projects. Coalitions are encouraged to share their awards with local legislators.
  • Spring-Summer: Grant recipients are working on their funded projects/programs/events. Mid-year check-ins are common.
  • Following Winter: Final Reports are due February 1. Reports are from Coalitions and sub-grant recipients.
