At the end of the month, the Oregon Cultural Trust will calculate what funds are available for grants this summer.

As a donor to the Cultural Trust you make important grants to arts, heritage and humanities nonprofits possible.  

That funding goes to inspire our children through in-school arts residencies, after-school heritage programs, weekend activities, and humanities summer camps. 

Do you remember the first ‘chapter’ book you read? Your first trip to a museum? The first musical instrument you played as a child? Your first grade play, where you co-starred as the second squirrel on the right?

Every year the Oregon Cultural Trust awards just over $1.5 million a year in grants to help create these priceless memories.  Yet for each dollar we awarded in competitive grants, more than $4 in requested support went unfunded. 

We can do better.  The funding the Cultural Trust awards in grants is directly proportional to the funds contributed by donors like you by June 30*.  

Help ensure that our children’s and grandchildren’s experiences in Oregon are as vivid and poignant as our own early memories.   

 *Donations made via mail must be received in the Trust offices by June 28.  Online donations have until June 30th at 4:00 pm to be counted in Fiscal Year 2013.
