Founded in 1989, The Southern Oregon Music Festival (SOMF) is a 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating, fostering, sponsoring, and developing the understanding, taste and love of traditional jazz and period contemporary music through youth education programs and an annual Festival. Youth music education includes Outreach to area elementary & middle schools and Instrument Donation and Instruction to disadvantaged and at-risk students
