OSH Museum of Mental Health

Explore the history of mental illness and its treatments through the collections of Oregon’s historic State Hospital (Oregon Insane Asylum). The 130-year-old hospital was once used to film the movie One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest. In the exhibit space in the original Asylum facility, you will discover artifacts, photographs and recordings that share the stories of those who lived and worked at the Hospital.
