The Mid-Valley Prelude Sinfonia (MVPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose goal is to provide an opportunity for youth in the greater Albany area to play violin, viola, cello, or string bass in a group setting. We offer group classes in several Albany public schools and the Albany Youth Orchestra for more advanced players. MVPS is committed to providing affordable and accessible music instruction, offering scholarship assistance and discounted instrument rentals to needy families.
