Based in the Northeastern corner of Oregon in beautiful Wallowa County, Fishtrap runs several programs that promote clear thinking and good writing in and about the West, including the annual Summer Fishtrap Gathering of Writers, Winter Fishtrap, Fishtrap Story Lab, Fishtrap Fireside, and the Big Read. Programs are designed to inspire and excite writers of all ages and abilities, to spark conversation about the issues that affect the West, and promote community.
