The Children’s Museum of Eastern Oregon (CMEO) was established in 1996 with a mission to provide children of all ages with opportunities for educational exploration and development through interactive exhibits and play. CMEO is an organization dedicated to offering an on-going and wide range of theme-oriented, hands-on educational exhibits and activities. Launched in 1996 by a collaborative effort from over 300 community volunteers, the museum has grown into an Eastern Oregon destination.
