As Oregon’s flagship college of art and design since 1909, Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA) at Willamette University has helped shape Oregon’s visual arts landscape for more than a century. We know that creative lives are lived both in and out of the studio and our futures-oriented BFA, MFA, and MA programs prepare students to engage the world and its cultures with understanding, enthusiasm, and integrity. Each year, PNCA offers 150+ free public lectures and exhibitions with leading artists, curators, and scholars.
Housed within (PNCA), the Center for Contemporary Art & Culture is a dynamic platform for thinkers, makers, scholars, craftsmen, writers, and performers invested in examining contemporary culture via exhibition, lecture, performance, and publication. The Center builds on the legacies of both the Philip Feldman Gallery + Project Space and Museum of Contemporary Craft and introduces emerging cultural producers, questions, and communities to the city of Portland.
