The Mid-Valley Literacy Center was formed as a 501(c) (3) non-profit in June of 2009. Our mission is to empower adults with the literacy skills needed to increase economic stability and overall quality of family life. We train volunteer tutors who provide literacy services to adults in the following areas: Preparation for GED in English and Spanish, Medical Literacy (CNA), U.S. Citizenship, English for Speakers of Other Languages, Computer Basics, and Spanish Literacy (INEA).
