Ninkasi Brewing Company, Sterling Bank, and Rogue Ales have joined the ranks of corporate philanthropists giving to the Cultural Trust!

Ninkasi Brewing, in partnership with Sterling Bank, has made a $6,250 pledge, to be presented July 24 at a public reception in Eugene. The two companies have pledged $37,500 to six local non-profits that do work in Lane County this year.

“Our teams worked together to select a group of organizations that as a whole, promote better living for all,” explains Ridge. “We chose groups that not only help ensure we all have access to clean water and food, but are also committed to education, art and culture.”

The Cultural Trust is the only statewide organization to receive this donation.

In addition to the donation from Ninkasi and Sterling, the Cultural Trust received a $10,000 donation from Rogue Ales earlier this year. Part of that gift helped install a series of iconic photos by Holly Andres, commissioned by the Trust in 2012.

The photo subjects included Rogue Brew Master John Maier; the prints are on exhibit through the summer at Rogue Hall in downtown Portland and will journey through Oregon, making a stop at each of the Rogue Ale Houses in the region. Stay tuned for information on how you might become a proud owner of one of these prints after the tour.

Stop by Rogue Hall at 1717 SW Park in Portland to see the pictures, or stop by the Cultural Trust’s table at the Ninkasi Brewing Company/Sterling Bank reception Wednesday, July 24, 6-8:30pm, on the patio at Ninkasi.
