Cultural Partner Agency Grants

Five statewide cultural agencies are the Trust's core partners: the Oregon Arts Commission, Oregon Humanities, Oregon Heritage Commission, Oregon Historical Society, and the State Historic Preservation Office. Each year, the Cultural Partners receive grants totaling one-third of the Trust's funds distributed. A portion of the funds are restricted for a collaborative endeavor undertaken by the partners as a group.

These collaborative projects have included the funding of the poet laureate position in the person of Lawson Fusao Inada, the development of the online Oregon Encyclopedia, and support for the 2009 Northwest History and Heritage Conference.
