The Friends of Jacksonville’s Historic Cemetery was formed in 2008 to better meet the needs of caring for this 30 plus acre Pioneer Cemetery which opened in 1859. It is one of the oldest and largest Pioneer Cemeteries in the state of Oregon. Our Mission is to restore, preserve, document and safeguard our Cemetery and its history for future generations. We hold events and activities throughout the year to educate and promote the history of this final resting place.
