For 25 years, Bells of the Cascades, an advanced level community handbell choir based in Portland, has been advancing the art of handbell ringing through performance and education. They have performed throughout Oregon and with groups such as Novum Chamber Singers, David York Ensemble, Bridgetown Sound, Pink Martini, and Portland’s Singing Christmas Tree. Every couple of years BOC invites ringers from all over the world to join them on handbell cruises.
