Contributing to the Oregon Cultural Trust is easy, takes just a few moments, allows you to support arts and culture in Oregon, and qualifies you for a generous tax credit on your Oregon tax return. Here's how it works:
Step One: If you haven't already, make a donation to one or more of your favorite
qualifying Oregon cultural non-profit organizations. If you have already
donated to a qualifying non-profit organization please proceed to step 2.
If your preferred organization is not on this list please contact us and we
will let you know if they qualify.

Step 2: Add up all your gifts to cultural organizations from the calendar year and make a matching gift to the Oregon Cultural Trust. Don't forget to make your donation by December 31st!
To donate, call the Oregon Cultural Trust at (503) 986-0088

Looking for our online donation system?
We're currently working on a scheduled upgrade of the Oregon Cultural Trust online donation system. Check back later in 2008 for our new and upgraded ecommerce system featuring improved security and functionality.
In the meantime, please call (503) 986-0088 to donate to the Oregon Cultural Trust.
Step 3: Claim your 100% tax credit
when you file your 2007 Oregon tax return. The "identify" code for the Oregon Cultural Trust is 722. Your entire contribution to the Oregon Cultural Trust
- up to $500 for individuals, $1000 for couples filing jointly or $2,500
for Oregon corporations - qualifies for the tax credit.
A donation in 2008 enables you to claim the tax credit on your 2008 Oregon tax return. Keep a record of
your contribution in your tax files.
