We are very proud to share with you the Oregon Cultural Trust’s new brand! It is the result of an intensive and inclusive rebranding process we conducted with our creative agency partner, Grady Britton.
Beginning with our statewide town meetings last fall and in tandem with our strategic planning process, we assessed the Cultural Trust’s history and impact. We also envisioned a future where all of Oregon champions investment in our shared values of creative expression, cultural exchange and inspired innovation.
The results are a Cultural Trust that is energetic, empowering and committed to fueling culture across all 98,000 square miles of Oregon. You’ll see, and hear, a voice that invites all Oregonians – with your help – to embrace our inner muse and celebrate culture in all its forms.
We have a new brand anthem which delivers a message of encouragement, excitement and passion. It is our promise to you and to every Oregonian.
We also have new messaging for collateral and advertising materials. Our hope is it better communicates the work and impact of the Cultural Trust — so that more people will decide to invest in Oregon culture.
Thanks to our donors, statewide cultural organizations received a record $2.6 million in Cultural Trust grants this year, up a full 30 percent over last year and surpassing $2 million for the first time. The dramatic increase resulted from a record fundraising year and a new distribution formula approved by the Oregon legislature that dedicates more of the funds we raise to Cultural Development Grants.
