In addition to our year-old Pioneer Circle initiative, whichencourages and incentivizes Cultural Trust donors to give above the state taxcredit limit, the Trust has rolled out the new Crescendo Club, whichwelcomes donors who increase their contributions by 10% (or a minimum of $25)over their 2012 gifts.

The brand new Crescendo Club comes with designation in nextyear’s Annual Report, recognition in Field Notes: The eNewsletter of the OregonCultural Trust (with a distribution of 10,000) and a new Crescendo Club totebag. This is an excellent opportunity for emerging culture mavens and budding, upwardly mobile philanthropists to begin giving bigger, and, for more modestdonors, it inches gifts up toward the tax credit limit (be sure to match thelarger amount to your favorite Oregon nonprofits to be eligible for thecredit!).

Meanwhile, in a special appeal (though certainly not limited)to the under-35 crowd, the Willamette Week Give!Guide is going strong untilDecember 31. Over 40 Cultural Trust partner nonprofits have participated in theGive!Guide and, after donating to any of them, the website nicely promptsdonors to match with a gift to the Trust for the cultural tax credit. No amounttoo small or large; give in one easy online transaction today!

So, if you have already contributed in 2013, please consider joining the 80% of donors who give in the last 3 weeks of the year, by making an additional year-end gift.  If you haven’t given yet this year, consider increasing your donation by 10% over 2012.

Be part of the Cultural Evolution. Give by December 31.
